ARIS ONNA, ARIS CADENCE, AND ANNAPURNA IN A SPACE WHERE MATERIAL GOES BEYOND CLADDING
An outdoor space is defined by more than its boundaries. The way materials create pathways, provide shade, introduce texture, and interact with vegetation can completely transform the experience of a space.Created by Pía Paisajismo for Casa Decor 2023, this project explores exactly that idea. Aris Onna, Aris Cadence, and Annapurna are integrated throughout the courtyard to create a continuous material language that connects architecture, landscape, and furniture.
One Material Language, Different Possibilities
One of the most interesting aspects of the project is the variety of applications brought together within a single space.
The panels clad the vertical surfaces that define the courtyard, adding texture, continuity, and rhythm. Profiles are incorporated into open structures and pergolas that help define different areas while creating shade.
The material even extends into custom-designed furniture, reinforcing the visual continuity between the different elements of the project.
Designing with Light and Shadow
The pergola is one of the clearest examples of how material actively contributes to the experience of the space.
The repetition of profiles filters natural light and casts patterns of shadow across the flooring, vegetation, and seating areas. As the light changes throughout the day, so does the perception of the courtyard.
Material, light, and vegetation work together to create depth, rhythm, and movement.
Beyond Cladding
The combination of Aris Onna, Aris Cadence, and Annapurna demonstrates how Panels&More Ecofiber-Stone panels and profiles can extend beyond conventional wall applications.
In this project, the system makes it possible to:
- Clad and define vertical surfaces.
- Create pergolas and elements that filter natural light.
- Define different areas within a single outdoor space.
- Integrate material into custom furniture solutions..
- Maintain a consistent material language between architecture and landscape.
The result is a space where material is no longer treated simply as a finishing layer, but as an active part of the design.
Architecture and Landscape in One Material Language
This project presents a different way of working with architectural surfaces: not as isolated elements, but as design tools capable of connecting different scales and functions within the same environment.
From the walls to the pergola and custom furniture, Aris Onna, Aris Cadence, and Annapurna help create a cohesive outdoor experience where texture, shade, vegetation, and architecture become part of the same composition.
